Installable, offline-first field tools for trained shorebird stewards. Submit data directly to the programme dataset from anywhere in Australia — with or without signal.
The tool is a Progressive Web App — open it in your browser, tap "Add to Home Screen", and it installs like a native app. Your data is saved even without signal and submitted automatically when you reconnect.
A Steward-only tool for assessing roost site condition and disturbance risk. Two forms: the VISIT form scores disturbance risk against the conservation status of species present (scored /12, GREEN · AMBER · RED); the AUDIT form scores physical site condition across six criteria (scored /20, Tier 1–3). Together they generate a management signal that bridges community observation and council decision-making.
Both tools install as apps on your home screen. Once installed, they work offline. Your data is saved to your device and submitted automatically when you reconnect to the internet.
Every survey you submit goes directly to the programme's Google Sheet dataset. Data is shared openly for research and conservation planning. Your assessor name is stored on your device only and never shared without your knowledge.
If you lose signal in the field, your record is saved automatically to your device. When you're back in range, a queue badge appears in the app header. Tap it to submit all queued records at once.
